As a proprietary-owned golf club, we pride ourselves in making the club feel and run as a members club, with emphasis on competitions and sections run by member committees. Membership at the club is currently around 600, with the Ladies Section of 150 and the Seniors Section of 110. A large proportion of our members hold official club handicaps and we are proud to have many fine players as members
We encourage traditional qualities at the club, such as good golfing etiquette, club committees, and standards of dress; we promote friendliness, equality and enjoyment of the game. During the past fifteen years the owners have endeavoured to keep improving the course and clubhouse facilities and they are justifiably proud of its success. Membership categories are flexible to suit your individual requirements, whether you are a frequent or less frequent player, newcomer to the game or experienced golfer
Newcomers to the game are welcomed and encouraged with new member evenings organised by the various sections. Help is available to arrange games and to meet other members of a similar ability
We have a full calendar of club competitions and club matches for the Mens, Ladies, Seniors and Mixed Sections within the club. These, combined with the superb driving range, teaching academy, short game area, and welcoming clubhouse atmosphere, provide all the necessary ingredients for members to enjoy their chosen sport in a friendly, yet relaxed environment
If you would like to join, it could not be simpler, as the Membership Form can be downloaded from the left hand menu
