Substantial discounts on green fees
This years membership at Stratford Oaks includes a County Card which allows its holder to visit any one of the 1200 clubs once each year for a reduced green fee. That green fee can be 50% or less of the normal green fees charged by the club the golfer is visiting. County cards are only available to members of clubs which are affiliated to the Scheme of which Stratford Oaks is one. Most clubs offer the County Card Scheme for weekdays only – some may have a weekend fee. The card is valid from 1st April – 31st March the following year and the union fees that you pay with your subscription goes to the County Union to support its activities – Championships, teams and notably the development of Junior Golf
Free direct debit for all members
From 1 April 2013, all membership fees will be collected free of charge by direct debit. You are able to choose to spread your membership fees across the year via monthly payments or, if you prefer, by one full payment when you join. Paying by direct debit is considered to be safest and most efficient, guaranteeing peace of mind and ease of payment, at no extra cost to you.
Free personal liability insurance anywhere in the world
Stratford Oaks takes safety on and off the course seriously. When you join we will automatically insure you, for the period of your membership, should you injure another person whilst playing golf. This covers you playing at any golf club in the UK and up to 120 days abroad. As a member of Stratford Oaks you may upgrade this to cover your equipment at a preferential rate by contacting GolfGuard.
