We are now actively promoting junior golf at the Oaks through a number of different channels. These are being organised by Adam Gray and include coaching at local schools, working with the Golf Roots organisation as well as junior group coaching on Saturdays

One of the recommendations from The Golf Foundation, and seeing how other clubs structure their junior membership to attract and retain junior members, is to restructure the junior membership age groups. We have now done this with these three new categories:

6-16 Years
17-22 Years
23-27 Years

The emphasis on the new structure is to retain our junior members through to full paying adults. Each junior category would have the same playing privileges as a full 7 day member, with the exception of the 6-16 age group who must gain an official handicap to play at weekends before 12pm

Blue junior tees will be placed on the front 9 holes at the start of the fairway. This is to help keep the shorter hitters motivated (6-16 age category) and helps them to get round the course more easily

Annual Golf Union fees of £15.50 for men and £18.75 for ladies are added to all categories of subscriptions Please click here to see how much your subscriptions would be based upon your category and start date
