The 16th is played uphill to a large green sloping from back to front with large bunkers protecting both front right and left. Dead ground between bunkers and green can cause problems with club selection as does the deceptively uphill sloping of the terrain. As with all the par threes at the Oaks the 16th should be treated with respect as it can easily card a birdie or a double bogey.
