Hole 3

Here as with all of the par 5’s at Stratford Oaks the wind plays a major influence. Downwind the green is reachable in two for the top player, into wind it is a very different proposition. Out of bounds left, all the way up the hole has to be avoided and can push you to the right where hillocks, gorse and a ditch are waiting. The green is very narrow with mounds either side making accuracy with the third shot all important. Beware the length of the green where there is often as much as three clubs difference between front and back.
