Hole 5
Claverdon Corner

The 5th is a classic par 4 with a slight dogleg right. The big hitter can take on the corner leaving a pitch over the water in front of the green. For mere mortals a line slightly to the left of the new trees on the corner is the ideal. However the further left the tee shot the longer the approach. With the water at the front and bunkers at the rear and right of the green, with a backdrop of trees, always appears narrower than it is, so one club more could be the rule.
