Hole Seventeen

The tee shot is the key on the 17th where bunkers left push you towards the right and steep mounding and rough that can make the second shot very difficult. This second shot is played into a green protected by deep bunkers at the front. The green itself is deceptively long so club selection is important here, especially as the wind is often an issue on this exposed part of the course. More than any other hole the 17th requires two long straight shots to earn par.
