Hole Two

Par 4,Yards 369,Stroke Index 2

Warren

Par 4, Yards 369, Stroke 2

How much of the corner can I cut off is the question asked of you on the tee of the dogleg second. The ideal line is towards the bunker on the dogleg with draw. Downwind the good player who favours the right to left shot can take the more ambitious line. For the modest player the key off the tee is to get into position to have a crack at the green. Whatever shot you play, commit yourself through the ball. Club selection is vital on the second shot, always take enough club. Remember the green slopes towards you so the ball will stop quicker. Whether you attack the green with your second or third shot try to leave yourself the easy putt that is uphill and be assured, it is not a disaster if you drop a shot on this hole; there are plenty of birdie chances remaining!
